Property investment companies; funds
As valuers for pre-purchase and subsequent valuations for several asset management companies, Dirk Fischer-Appelt and Mark Kipp-Thomas are accredited by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin to conduct fund valuations.
Banks
As a firm of experts, we provide services to several regional banks (Landesbanken), large commercial banks, Pfandbrief banks and a number of large savings banks. We have been strategic partners of one of the largest Scandinavian mortgage banks for many years now.
Commercial, industrial and infrastructure enterprises
Our services for commercial companies are primarily for balance-sheet purposes. In the case of industrial enterprises, we additionally demonstrate the development potential of their properties or provide assistance in determining share values. We have already been commissioned by infrastructure companies to assess value-relevant rights and determine appropriate ground rents as well as in connection with the purchase or the sale of areas that have been withdrawn from public use.
Housing associations and residential building co-operatives
We prepare individual or portfolio valuation reports for private and cooperative residential building associations to determine assets or within the scope of transactions.
Family Offices
We support firms that consolidate large private assets in determining assets and holdings and with development valuations.
Insurance companies and pension funds
We regularly prepare valuation reports for balance-sheet purposes for several insurance groups.
Public sector
Besides the preparation of valuation reports on market value, we provide consultancy services on economic and technical matters for the public sector.
Courts
The two partners Dirk Fischer-Appelt and Mark Kipp-Thomas themselves are commissioned by a number of district courts in northern Germany on matters concerning compulsory auctions.
Lawyers, notaries, auditing and tax consultancy firms
We support the professions offering legal advice and tax consultancy services in advising their clients on topics relating to property. We quantify the qualitative restrictions caused through future building development or through rights and encumbrances.
We check the reasonableness of values determined by the tax authorities on property assets for gift and inheritance tax purposes and the apportionment of land and buildings with regard to the amount of the allowance for depreciation.
Private individuals, foundations and registered associations
We value properties in all categories for this client group, from freehold flats or single-family houses to extensive property portfolios. We support our clients through consultancy services and valuations for tax purposes.
